‘Gospel of John’ Authorship?
The authorship of the book that the tradition of men calls the Gospel of John, Book of John, St. John's Gospel, etc., comes down to an issue of source. Men use non-Bible sources to teach that the author of the fourth gospel was John but Bible facts can prove that John was not this anonymous gospel author.
God's word is better than non-Bible sources and scripture is profitable for correction. So it makes sense to stand with the truth when a tradition of men stands in opposition to the words of scripture (as in the case of the mislabeled Gospel According to John or Book of John). Use the links below to hear biblical evidence on the beloved disciple who wrote the fourth gospel.
